Our family's road trip to West Malaysia #3

Posted by spots (Singapore, Singapore) on 27 June 2013 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Do you miss blue skies? It's hazy in Singapore today and looking at this picture, taken just 2.5 weeks ago, makes me nostalgic.

This was the kind of scenery that greeted us at UK Farm Resort, about 1.5-2 hours from Singapore, in Johor.

The UK Farm Resort was a great place for nature and the outdoors. Our family took a horse cart to visit the various attractions, including feeding the goats, watching a milking demonstration, feeding ostriches, visiting an Orang Asli village and visiting a vegetable and mushroom farm.

We also had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant there, and there were plenty of play areas (with swings, tree houses) to keep the kids busy.

I'll be posting a collage of pictures from the UK Farm Resort soon! It was a lovely nature-y place to visit with the kids, though I wonder how it is faring now that the haze is here. =(

More pics can also be found here.
