I realise I have not been updating my blog regularly, and it's mainly been because we've been very busy, both at work and beyond that., preparing for a mission trip to Cambodia.
Fortunately, amidst our busyness in May, we found some time to take a family stroll along Changi Beach, and chanced upon a nice playground set by the beach. What fun! As the kids played with the old fashioned swings & wooden playground contraptions, we had airplanes fly over us literally every 5 minutes, to the excitement of everyone, especially Esther. There was even an old-school ice cream man who cycled by with his ice cream ice box & sold us cornettos.
Something new that has happened this month is that Dan has been advised to wear his glasses all the time, instead of only during classtime. His eyesight has gone up to 275 and 225! Shocking, considering last year, it was just in the 100s. But friends have told me that this is quite normal as the kids grow, and eventually their eyesight stabilises.
The other key milestone in our family calendar is that May is the month of my husband's birthday! I shall have to blog more about that in another entry.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos, and check out Changi Beach with the playground!
