We found this waterpark on Koh Samui that totally reminded me of Big Splash at East Coast from yesteryear. It had a nice, big two-storey yellow slide, plus a few other gentler slides. On top of that, it had a flying fox (where you whiz through the air above water), bridges, and a mini-Rainforest Kidz World set up with a bucket emptying water on you every so often, and water sprays & fountains. Oh, there was also a jacuzzi, and uncaged rabbits hopping about. There were also monkeys in cages ?!
Coco Splash was the perfect place to take the 6 kids we had, while the Husbands went off for their diving trip. With the help of the very able and energetic Soon and Yeo grandparents, Rachel & I had a splashin' time, and so did our kids--well, all except perhaps Esther who was a bit spooked out by all the splashing and crashing of water. She spent most of the morning in my arms, assiduously avoiding anything watery, which was everything around her! I did manage to get her to play in a very shallow "longkang", and distract her with balls, but most of the time, she enjoyed looking at the rabbits & staying on dry land more! Guess we need to get her more used to water ?
I was very proud to see both Dan and Ben climb up the 2-storey slide and whiz down multiple times. As Big Splash has closed down, this will probably be the only time they get to experience such a humongous slide! Thank you Coco Splash! =)
