Ben's Lego project

The school holidays have started and I am totally not feeling like working. Still I dragged my thoroughly unmotivated self to work today leaving my children at home, standing at the gate looking at me forlornly as I departed.

Just kidding. They were perfectly fine to let me go. I was the one having trouble leaving them--haha.

Anyway, before I left, I took out a Lego project for Ben, and I was very pleased to find, when I came home a few hours later, that he had completed the whole thing, all by himself!!

I think Daniel was about the same age when he started doing more complicated Lego projects independently, and I remember what a RELIEF that was to me as I personally cannot stand having to put together 22 plastic pieces the size of my fingernail in order to make the left side of a windmill engine !

Anyway, Ben felt very pleased when I praised him and said he was now a "Lego expert", just like his brother. It really made his day !
