Win Hotel: a walk down memory lane!

While in Hanoi, we managed to track down Win Hotel, the hotel Husband & I stayed at, together with Melvin, Alto & Yin, when we went holidaying in Hanoi before we got married! It was a lovely nostalgic moment--nothing had changed. It looked exactly the same, with the same pizzeria at the corner, and the same Pho shop across from it! Yet here we were--7 years on. Married with 3 kids. We had changed, but the place had not!

(7 years is a long time for nothing to change--but maybe, that is a very Singaporean mentality huh! =))

p.s. while in Hanoi, we also got to eat at the very same Bun Cha place we ate at 7 years ago! Once again, nothing had changed. No upgrading. No air-con. Just the same street side stall, with a narrow dirty spiral staircase leading up to a small cramped room where they serve the best Bun Cha (with the highest toxicity of MSG in the world!)!!
