Holding Hands

Posted by

Daniel has taken to holding hands with Benjamin these days. Benjamin has politely acquiesed. The result--two midget-sized boys walking around clasping palms tightly, one with a high pitched squeak, the other with a tight low grunt. ^__^

This picture was taken from our recent family walk on the park connector bridges that connect Hort Park @ Alexandra to Mt Faber. We didn't make it all the way but did about 1km before turning back.

I'm pleased to certify that the park connector bridges are PRAM FRIENDLY and the kids loved it. At certain points, you couldn't see any HDB blocks or any buildings at all, and you really felt like you were in a jungle. Amazing, considering we were right smack in the heart of urban Singapore.

More pics can be found on my flickr site.

We are happy to note this progress in Daniel's behaviour towards Benjamin. It requires your patience and determination to teach the boys to grow up together, to share things, to be considerate of each other, etc. Its not easy but we think, with your perseverance, Dan and Ben will grow up with strong bonding to love each other.

yes my boys too! They like holding hands,Caleb likes to play big bro and Ian loves holding his bro's hands so much sometimes to the point of not wanting to hold mine!!But once,Caleb was so earnest about leading his bro he led his brother right smack to a wall corner and ian got a little bump after that..LOL

and hey, what a coincidence,i know that couple with the pram in the background from my Youth For Christ days!

Ben's gotten so big now! Will he hold hands with my Emma? :D

Where did you park when you went for this walk? Been thinking of doing it for some time, but wasn't sure which part of the walk would be a good place to start.
