Ben: Cruising in playpen video

Benjamin has surprised me by starting to cruise round and round while holding onto the edge of the playpen. He's been doing this for a few weeks, probably just before 8.5months or so. Check this video out.

I don't remember Daniel cruising at 8.5 months - but maybe my memory is rusty!

I remember Daniel learning to crawl at around 9 months and he also tried to stand up at the white sofa. But Ben seemed to do the stand, dance and walk slightly earlier and better than Dan. May be Ben is stronger as he has more muscles ! Its a fact that Ben eats more than Dan. Perhaps, Dan needs to eat more "muscle" food.

It is hardly Dan's fault that he was and still is less hefty than Ben. There is a school of thought that the second and subsequent children are substantially heavier at birth and grow up to be chunkier than the first child for the very simple reason that with the second and subsequent pregnancies, the mother would be more clued in on the foods that are beneficial to her and the foetus and hence would be in a position to eat smarter. As such, rare is the first child who is not smaller than his or her younger siblings.

Ben's so sturdy! E can only creep on her tummy... and backwards only (and in a sort of clock-wise manner) only! Which frustrates her to no end. Sigh. And she's not putting on much weight either. Any tips on how to get her to eat better and put on more weight?
