Vivocity

Now what kind of Singaporean would I be if I didn't come-back-straight-away-go-vivocity-to-look-see-look-see? So we went yesterday - Dan had a good time playing at the Level 2 playground. Ben slept right through it all. We didn't really care much for the shops. But there were some very nice open boardwalk areas facing Sentosa where Dan could see the mini-trains & boats. The water feature on the top floor was also pretty amazing. For Singapore's largest shopping mall, Vivocity didn't seem too enormous or intimidating. I like how they put effort into creating little enclave spaces for "respite". Or maybe it's just cos we went on a weekday and weren't thronged by the weekend crowds.

ViVoCity is a nice place to bring Dan to play. Its big and the playground at L2 is suitable for Dan to "discover" Singapore and play with other kids. But take the necessary safety precautions like constant watch over him; he may wander off and be lost in the crowd or injure himself, especially during weekends when the crowd is much bigger than during weekdays. Do bring along some drinking water and a set of clothes change for Dan. The view of Sentosa is indeed refreshing, different from the hustle and bustle of the city. Have fun !
