Dan reads Daniel & the Lion's Den!

I used my SKS vouchers to buy a couple of books this morning (Wed, 23 Sep)--Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas, Personal Religion, Public Reality by Dallas Willard and a bunch of "I Can Read!" kiddy books from the Beginner's Bible series.

I was pleasantly surprised when Dan picked up the "Daniel & the Lion's Den" book after his bath and started reading out loud to himself. So, I asked him to "be the teacher" and sit in front of Ben & I and read the book to us. Here he is on video reading the entire book!

Dan has been reading well for a while--like here and here. His sense of phonics is still a bit wonky once in a while, but generally, I take it as a good sign that he's starting to more regularly read out loud to himself, without assistance.

If anybody knows of any good books that are for his age group, do let me know, thanks!
