Past 2 weeks

The past 2 weeks have been indescribably tiring. Deadlines looming at work, Daniel has no school due to Sep hols, busy firming up the details for our family trip to Perth, leading songs for church, practicing for CS & Stella's wedding, ...

What can I say? I have not felt this tired in years, I think! When I am stressed, it usually starts showing when I wake up earlier than I should. This time, it went beyond that. I was so tired, I couldn't even fall asleep!

But you know what, God is really amazing. And He has sustained me through this tiring time--and coming out of the "tunnel" to see the light at the end, it feels really good!

I am glad that song leading went well this weekend. And I do miss singing, and certainly got my fair share of that, to last me a while! As for Daniel being on school hols--it was actually a real joy spending more time with me, albeit very tiring, as he keeps talking to me and asking me all sorts of questions. I find that it is when Dan and Ben are together that things get a bit annoying because there is more "dynamics management" and the need to sort of issues like sharing and fighting.

I'm also glad to report that our family trip to Perth in Nov looks set to go! FINALLY.

Looks like the only thing still "looming" is work deadlines, which will eventually sort themselves out, given time.
