@ Mount Faber

Posted by spots (Singapore, Singapore) on 5 August 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

So last weekend, we went for a Cable Car ride. For those of you not in the know, the Cable Car is having a promotion--kids ride for free & the usual discount of 10% for adults applies for those with the Sentosa Islander card! Promotion ends next weekend, I think!

Anyway, we parked at Sentosa Imbiah Car Park and took the Cable Car to Mount Faber for a nature walk. I was so excited when we ambled over to this patch of grass (in pic above)--it's way in the corner, next to the huge wooden boat like structures. I remember coming here with Husband when I was pregnant with Daniel. Husband even video-d me walking and talking on this very patch of grass--I was about 6-7 months pregnant I think?!

It was a strange moment reflecting that here I was, back on this insignificant patch of grass, with TWO KIDS, four years later!

It was also a rare moment because RARELY in Singapore can you find any piece of land/building that remains UNTOUCHED for 4 years! But I guess this part of Mount Faber is so "uncommerical" and "unprofitable" that there's been no effort to upgrade it haha :) Thank God for that!
