At port dickson & video

A collage of Dan and Ben clowning around at the balcony of our hotel room in Port Dickson, or PD as some Malaysians call it. :) Dan & Ben have been very "into" superheroes recently so they've been posing as superheroes and going around making fighting noises & gesticulating like superheroes (or what they think superheroes sound & gesticulate like!). Check out this video.

Anyway, more about the PD hotel. We were blessed to find a hotel with 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and even 3 bedroom suites! They were like mini apartments, with several bathrooms, a living room, dining area and a kitchen area with sink and fridge (though no cooking was allowed). There was also breakfast provided at the restaurant, a nice swimming pool, playground, spa and direct access to the beach (it was a beach front hotel)! Prices were reasonable, considering the family-friendly facilities.

This was our first trip travelling with another family and I'm so glad to say it worked out splendidly! Dan and Ben had lots of fun with Phoebe and baby Chloe. Very often, the kids would play together or amuse themselves, leaving the adults some time to have conversation in between saying, "Daniel, please eat your food." "Benjamin, sit down properly." "Daniel hold hands." "Benjamin no whining!" and so on. HAHA.

More seriously, we are really grateful to have the opportunity to travel with another family and to be encouraged by their example and share experiences together. :) I think having more kids around makes outings more exciting and fun for all. This was certainly the case for our kids this time round! :)
