Vivo walk

On Saturday, we had a precious 1.5 hours before Husband had to scoot off to work. So, at 9am (!!), we headed for nearby Vivocity, figuring it'd be do-able in the short time span we had. I must admit, I have never trudged into those wading pools before. Usually, they are crowded with naked or half naked kids, or giggling hormonally charged teenagers, splashing each other with water and taking pictures. Of course, at 9am on a Saturday morning, the wading pools were absolutely EMPTY and the water was too tempting to resist.

The boys loved it! Daniel, for some reason, insisted on holding UP his shirt, even though the water only got up to his ankles. HAHA. Ben's diaper was soaked. But it was well worth the trouble, since he was absolutely delighted splashing water and did not seem to mind the wetness at all.

Our Vivo walk also brought us to the playground area, the Marche cows and the huge Christmas tree. Once again, all areas were absolutely empty. All in all, it was a lovely quiet morning of outdoor play. I'm glad the boys got to spend some one on one time with Husband this weekend.

Careful with the wooden deck around the same area. My friend's daughter fell on the board and she had splinters embedded in her knees. They had to pick out the splinters individually while the poor little girl was screaming away.
