Dan and Ben Holding Hands

I turned around in the car the other day and saw Dan and Ben holding hands. I hadn't asked them to or anything. Nor did they care to tell me about it. They were just holding hands, quietly, as if it were the most regular thing to do in the world. ^__^

I must commend Dan on getting better in terms of sharing with his brother. I used to have to threaten him with a spanking like 100% of the time, just to get him to share anything. Now, he'll share about 85% of the time and there's just 15% of threatening him with clenched teeth.

It's really great to see the boys start 'talking' to each other. Well, it's mostly Dan talking and Ben grunting. Take for example today. While I was washing the dishes, Dan got under his high chair and (of course) Ben followed suit. The following 'conversation' ensued:

Dan: See Benjamin, this is our house. We can sit here together. You want to sit here together with me? Yes? OK. Let's sit in this house.

Ben: (wiggles his legs and smiles)

Dan: Let's sleep here. Because we are soooo tired so we need to sleep. Come Benjamin, let's lie down here. (Uses his hands to push Ben's body to the floor.)

Ben: RWWWWOOOOAR!!!! (obviously doesn't like being pushed!)

Dan: You dowan? OK, I lie down cos I am soo tired. I want to sleep. Ok? You want to join me?

Ben: No!
