A few days ago, Ben fed himself a biscuit (also called a rusk). It was his first attempt at feeding himself, i.e. picking something up with his hands and eating it. So it was momentous. Congrats Ben! Your first step toward culinary independence!
He's absolutely adorable =) Love the Stanford t-shirt =D

benjamin is categorically very cute! if i may say so myself, ahem, as a thoroughly objective third party to this situation ^__^ I think part of the reason I find him stunningly adorable is because he looks like Husband. a mini-Husband. How cute is that? well anyway, friends have told me that I shd stop saying out loud how cute Benjamin is, especially in front of Daniel, lest he feel "slighted" or "jealous". But thus far, Daniel has not shown any adverse reaction to my comments, which spill out here and there when I speak with friends. In fact, Daniel has taken to mimicking me, saying, "Ben so cuuute Ben so cuute!" In any case, I think I shall probably do some counter affirmation and praise Daniel for his "handsome"-ness or something! :)

Tyan, I'm feeding Ben the Baby Bites rusks. And yes, people have mentioned the high forehead... :) Teehee.
I haven't seen anything similar to rusk here in the shops. Are they crush-proof? People here give wafer biscuits but Elin just crushes them into smithereens! Maybe should get some sent from Singapore to try...

they are sort of crush-proof - they're like wang wang rice crackers. in fact, they ARE rice crackers, jus not wang wang brand lor!

Oh, I didn't know they were made of rice. Anyway, looks like Elin's finally figured out how to chew on the wafers instead of crushing them. She holds them so gingerly now! LOL
