Sedona was voted the most beautiful place in America by USA Weekend in 2003. An hour's drive from Flagstaff, where we rented a vacation home, we were in awe of Sedona's rugged natural beauty. It's places like Sedona that make me realise how raw & magnificent America's landscape can be. We've never seen anything like it. The beauty of Australia is tamer, of New Zealand is smaller, of an English countryside is more rustic, of Europe is more elegant. Here in Sedona, we saw rough unrefined powerful beauty. Simply put - it was stunning.

Hello neighbor! (relatively speaking 15 miles is quite close, wouldn't you say?) Great composition for a family picture!

The beautiful landscape reminded us of our own holiday to Arizona back in 1994. And the photos are beautifully taken. We wish we could make another visit there if time and schedule permit in the not-too-distant future. :-D
