Celebrating birthday in Arizona

Posted by spots (Singapore, Singapore) on 29 May 2007 in People & Portraits and Portfolio.

We celebrated Husband's birthday during our recent trip to Grand Canyon & Sedona. Here we are having birthday (pan)cake(s), cooked by yours truly. I even added slices of cherries to the pancakes to give them a special touch! (Ben is not in the pic as he snoozed off!)

This is Husband's n-th birthday (n=secret digit that cannot be revealed except to a select few!) and our 3rd birthday as a married couple! I was glad to be living in a vacation rental house (rented from VRBO), as this gave me a fully equipped kitchen & all the necessary equipment to put together a lovely breakfast. We had pancakes with slices of banana, jam spread, and honey. We even put slices of deli ham & turkey between the pancakes to make pancake sandwiches. (Strangely, the taste of ham & pancakes go very very well together! Did anyone know that?)

Husband said he felt privileged to celebrate his birthday amidst the stunning views of Grand Canyon & Sedona. Those of you who know Husband, do drop him a line to wish him Happy Belated N-th Birthday, Yea? ^__^
