Daniel: conversations with a 20 month old

Mommy: "Daniel where are we going?"
Daniel: "PARTY!"
Mommy: "No, Daniel. Where are we going?"
Daniel: "PICNIC!"
Mommy: "No, Daniel. We are going to Church! Where are we going?"
Daniel: "PARTY!"
Mommy: "No, no. We are going to Church! Can you say Church?"
Daniel: "Che-rch!"
Mommy: "Yes Church. Cos today is Sunday."
Daniel: "SUN DAY!"
Mommy: "Yes, Sunday! So we're going to church!"
Daniel: "Che-rch!"
Mommy: "So where are we going Daniel?"
Daniel: "Daniel go Che-rch!"

(Walking down the stairs)
Mommy: "Let's count the stairs ok? One!"
Daniel: "ONE!"
Mommy: "Two!"
Daniel: "TWO!"
Mommy: "Three!"
Daniel: "FOUR!"
Mommy: "Four!"
Daniel: "Five!"
Mommy: "Five!"
Daniel: "Six!"
Mommy: "Six!"
Daniel: "GONE!"
Mommy: "Seven!" (the last step)

Daniel can also say the names of his friends - "Anna-lise!" "Cit-loli!" "Rachel!" "Gabriel!" "Skylar!" "Alex!" "Angie!" "Say-yong!"

Then today, he surprised me by grabbing the wire attached to a computer mouse (see picture) and saying, "Singing! Daniel singing!" He then proceeded to sing, "la la la la" and dancing. We have never taught him to "sing" using a microphone before, so I really wonder where he picked that up from!
