Yummy yakitori & 3rd year wedding anniversary

We took some time out tonight - and went for yakitori @ Sumika in downtown Los Altos.

The occasion? Our 3rd wedding anniversary!!!

It was a warm small restaurant, filled with Japanese clientele. Its specialty is yakitori and they use organic free range chicken - what you see in the pic is, from left to right, chicken heart, chicken skin and chicken liver. Grilled to perfection, with no seasoning, & served without sauce because none is necessary.

Husband & I took some time to review our year. It's been terribly busy and filled with practical stresses & concerns, mostly to do with uprooting the family to Stanford, being pregnant, giving birth, taking care of Daniel etc., Do pray for us as we look forward to the next 3 years. God has been so gracious to us in the past, and we hope that we will continue to be faithful & spur each other on towards Him as we move forward.
