We took some time out tonight - and went for yakitori @ Sumika in downtown Los Altos. The occasion? Our 3rd wedding anniversary!!! It was a warm small restaurant, filled with Japanese clientele. Its specialty is yakitori and they use organic free range chicken - what you see in the pic is, from left to right, chicken heart, chicken skin and chicken liver. Grilled to perfection, with no seasoning, & served without sauce because none is necessary. Yumyum! ^__^ Happy belly ^__^
