Dan & Ben: smiling

I like this photo. I took a series of shots of this scene - which has become quite common. After each breastfeed, I'll take Ben down to the living room, lay him on a playmat and attach silly little rattles to his wrists for him to kick about with and hear some noise. Dan will see Ben and say, "Baby! Baby! See! Hi! See!" He'll sit next to Ben, occasionally pat him, say hi, smile... and try to steal his rattles (greedy boy!). In this photo, you can see that Dan has succeeded in taking one rattle away from Ben and I've attached it to Dan's wrist. It's a cute photo because they look like they're smiling at each other. Dan is probably genuinely smiling at Ben. But Ben is probably just smiling at this blur noisy blob that he senses is coming from Dan's direction!
