So recently, Dan has been fascinated by my shoes. He'll point and shriek, "Mama's Shoes! Mama's Shoes!" And then, he's started wearing them. Why? Dunno le. Can any other mothers tell me if this is a common occurrence? ^__^
Aww, so adorable!
I know, when I was young - I used to love parading around in my parents shoes. :P

In psychology we studied about observational learning and all that jazz...perhaps he's just wanting to emulate the dominant role model in his life. That's just my two cents worth...I've got a couple of friends who are specializing in early childhood studies and development...would you like me to ask around?

I think kids just want to do everything their parents do, and that includes wearing your big shoes?? :)

Oh.... Dan's behaviour in this is natural. You will see this too in Benj later. Kids like to do or imitate what they see. In this you have to be careful to show Dan and later Benj what you want them to imitate or follow and teach them what not to follow or do especially those concerning safety.
To HubbaHubba, probably Daddy's shoes are too heavy at >Size 10... Hahaha!
