A 17 month old can be fairly useful around the house - especially when it comes to simple chores, like sweeping the yard. ^__^
I'm jus kidding of course. But Daniel does tend to try & mimic the chores I do around the house, like vacuuming and sweeping and wiping. What a parrot! :) Check out this video of him sweeping.
p.s. I especially like the top right pic where it looks like he's really sweeping with style!
oh wow! Daniel's having a whale of a time doing housework! Er, this is child labour isn't it, Ruth? heh! :P

They sure do try to imitate everything. But it's fun to watch.. and they really think that they are helping.. ;) But i do intend to start chloe young.. with chores around the house. Donch want her to grow up to be those brats around here.

Dan is surely learning fast but you need to keep a watchful eye over his every move, though. I wonder what help he can give when Benj arrives.

my girl is also starting to "do" household chores like mopping ala magic mop style and also using tissue paper to clean the coffee table... :-) heehee they are so fun to watch!!!!

Hi Ruth! I love the bottom middle picture...the broom head's huge and it looks like Daniel's sweeping the slippers into position =D He's also very photogenic =) I love the end bit of the video where he runs off camera to presumably get closer to you =D Have a great day!

thanks! the collage was easy to do - used picasa by google and made it automatically! :) bwee - nope, that is no apron! he's jus wearing his normal jacket with hood + his pants (which are quite baggy, so it may look like an apron!)
