Daniel: Happy Hollow Park & Zoo

There is just such a marked difference between kids who are sick and kids who are well. For the past week, Daniel had a high fever and was completely listless & fussy. He clung onto me as if for dear life and even lay on my lap motionless at times. I was worried this might turn into a permanent thing (horrors!) but thank God, as he began to recover, his appetite & his normal easy going spirits have returned!

This weekend, we took a trip down to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo in San Jose with some friends. It was such a joy (and relief) to see Daniel walking around on his own, staring, pointing, babbling, eating, smiling, and saying, "hi" to the strangers who passed him, all as per normal. I don't think I could handle a fussy clingy kid for long, especially at this stage of my pregnancy! Here's a pic Husband took of Daniel crawling happily through a playground tunnel. Happy days are back! Praise God! REALLY.
