Birthday

So my birthday was last week. It involved many days of eating cakes, catching up with friends, and plenty of good food.

I guess this birthday is a bit more special than usual because I have hit 30. The big THREE-0. Strangely, I do not feel the need to wax lyrical about turning 30 - it's definitely a big step, but there are bigger issues looming in the near future which are capturing my attention. I leave for Stanford in 6 weeks with Husband and Daniel. Looks like it'll be another very busy year for me, notwithstanding all the new dishes I plan to cook! Do pray for us.
